About The Founder

Luis G. Castillo has over thirty years of experience in Finance and Real Estate. He presently owns “Global Trade and Financing”, “Global Trade Insurance Corp.” “Exporters Association of USA”,  “Global Real Estate Projects” and Royal Estate Investment Group”.

Mr. Castillo graduated in Economics in the University of Costa Rica and he has been a member on the board of directors of multiple organizations and chambers of commerce. To mention a few,  Chambers of Commerce from Colombia, Honduras, Nicaragua, Caribbean Trade Center and the Exporters Association of the United States of America, Inc. (Exports-USA).

As an active broker of Export Import Bank of the United Sates and other Export Credit Agencies.  Mr. Castillo’s companies have been the lead, arrange and broker loans in hundreds and millions of dollars in the United States as well as in the Americas, Africa, Asia and the Caribbean.

In 2021 Mr. Castillo was appointed as Inaugural Advisory Council Member of Eximbank and was reappointed for the 2023-2024 Broker Advisory Council. He received numerous accolades for his contributions and community development. In 2023, he was awarded the highest civilian recognition by the U.S. Congress, receiving the Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition for his impact on Miami and South Florida, personally signed by Congresswoman Maria Elvira Salazar.

With the objective to create awareness, Mr. Castillo has been the promoter and speaker at seminars and conferences in many different countries such as Argentina, Bahamas, Dominican Republic, Colombia,  Panama, Peru, Trinidad and Tobago and in United States of America, Washington DC, New York and Miami, Florida. His expertise in global trade finance has led hi to host numerous business seminars in collaboration with U.S. Embassies and chambers of commerce. His most recent seminar took place in Guatemala in October 2023 and Chile in 2024.

Mr. Castillo has been married for fourty years, has two daughters, and lives in Miami, Florida. His native language is Spanish and he speaks fluent English and Portuguese.
